I have a confession.

I love the riverboat casino.

Not the way you're thinking, though. I barely scrape by to make ends meet, and gambling is so highly addicting. I don't go very often for this reason: a fool and his money are soon parted. I've seen how my family is. I will not be a fool.
What I mean is, I love the festivity, being out amongst the crowd, and the fun. Usually we grab a drink and walk around to people watch. Maybe that's what it is. I love to see what other people are doing. You'd be amazed at what people think other people don't see. In this case, it's walking around watching people win thousands of dollars and not even blink. I would imagine this is due to the fact they've already fed thousands into the machine and may only possibly be getting their money back if even that.
On the other hand, I lose my ass everytime I go. I'm lucky to break even. My motto is, if you don't bet $10, you're automatically $10 ahead.
Anyway, when I do venture inside, I am with friends and we have a good time. I've seen Joan Jett there...Rod Stewart....some local bands...you get the idea.
Last night I went with Donna and Jewels. I haven't seen Donna in six months or better, so it was a great evening. I miss doing things like this with them, and I think we all needed just to be together. We exchanged Christmas presents last night, too. Jewels' present was my favorite: a handsewn black fleece blanket with pink scotty dogs on it.
I haven't been to the boat in ages, either.
Anyway, I have three movies on my list to see at the theater: Memoirs of a Geisha(I want to read it,too), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Rent, Chronicles of Narnia, and Walk the Line. The Harry Potter movies are never as good as the books, but I'm never deterred. I think also perhaps today or tomorrow I may pick up a book on Judaism, or possibly Hinduism.

I have a new addiction, though: text messaging. Yikes.

I love my complete and utter randomness.
